Hermann Eagles Give Hermann EMS A Financial Shot In The Arm
The Hermann Fraternal Order Of Eagles Aeries and Auxiliary presented a check to the Hermann EMS last week and also brought in lunch for the first responders. The check amounted to $13,149.36 with $8,149.36 from the Women’s Auxiliary and and additional $5,000 from the Men’s Aeries.

City Postpones Voting on Proposed Ordinances that Divide Board of Aldermen
At the Board of Aldermen (BOA) meeting on Monday, Jun. 9, 2025, the City of Hermann postponed voting on several proposed ordinances that would result in increases to electricity and sewer fees for city customers.

Pickleball Almost Everyday
The addicting sport of pickleball has many Hermann residents playing most days of the week, according to Becky Meyers, who lives close enough to the courts that she can walk to them. Meyers mentioned that many retired players start at 8am Monday through Saturday and play other games at other times of the week.

Hermann in Hues: Artists Paint the Town for Annual Festival
If you were driving into Hermann this week, you might have found there to be lots of artists with their easels set up and painting all manner of subjects in town. Upon driving toward Hermann, two plein air painters were parked on a gravel drive and working out of the back of their SUVs, painting a corn field with green rows creating a linear pattern in the field.
