December 26, 2024 Happy New Year. Let’s get this show on the road.
The 103rd legislative session begins on January 8th, 2025, and you might be surprised to know the members of the Missouri House of Representatives will start the year with an average of only 2.5 years of experience in state government. Because of term limits, the average experience level of your state representatives is the equivalent of a first-year sophomore.

Another year of something special
Take a stroll around Hermann, and you'll see a town that's every bit as picturesque as a postcard. Its magnificent churches, their steeples reaching toward the heavens, stand tall as symbols of faith and community. Wineries and distilleries buzz with activity, offering worldclass libations to locals and tourists alike. Antique shops, great restaurants, and superb museums paint the picture of a vibrant and historic town. But is that all Hermann is?

Thinking OUT LOUD
As I sit in the airport terminal, finally heading home for Christmas, I started thinking about all the traveling I've done for work and pleasure in my life. My most recent companion the past few years has been a large green suitcase with a yellow cross taped on it that was given to me by mother-in-law when she finally stopped traveling so much at age 96.

Cathi’s Corner
Matthew 1:21. She will give birth to a son, and you are to name him Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.
